New "Explore this area" feature in Google Maps
Peter showed me a new feature of Google Maps today. The 'Explore this area' feature which is a link on the left side of the map (usually where driving directions would go.) Clicking it will display various photos of the area. The photos are from Panoramio, yet another Google product. Test it out on my bookmark of downtown Welland or read more about it and watch the Google promo video here.
